The first option there wouldn't even benefit me in terms of DPS, but it would still clear up the Despair aura problem for me. Would it be possible to remove the Despair aura from Witchfire Brew and add a chaos damage effect, either "adds # to # Chaos damage during flask effect" or "+#% chaos damage during flask effect"? Thus the Despair auras conflict with each other, making one of the major effects of Witchfire Brew irrelevant to an actual DPS decrease if it overrides my blasphemy gem combo (still unclear on that interaction). The quality on the despair aura gem is of significant benefit to me as all my damage is a DoT effect, so I don't want to lose the Despair gem (also maintaining 100% uptime on flasks is a pain).
